Monty is a 14 yrs young corgi mix. His owner went to a nursing home and poor Monty was sent to the shelter. Underdogs saw a little old man in need and jumped to save him!! He is great with people, other dogs of al sizes, and cats. We have no had him around any children but I suspect he would do great with children respectful of his space. He loves to follow his foster mom around the house and sometimes he can be bossy with his low pitched bark that sounds like “bow bow bow”.
He is just the sweetest little guy and deserves to spend the rest of his days with someone(s) to snuggle with, take walks, and chew on toys. He is surprisingly active for a senior dog and he keeps up pretty well with our big dogs. He enjoys going to the park and walking around our neighborhood. He likes to occasionally leap forward in the cutest little way. He wont turn down a treat but he also doesn’t really know any tricks 😆. If you have space and time in your life for a little old man who loves life—Monty is your guy.
